Counseling for Life Issues
We may not choose life’s challenges, but we can choose our responses.
Dr. Jeanette is an experienced mental health provider who has been in private practice since 1991. She provides compassionate services for clients with challenges across the life span. These issues include family of origin, relationships, workplace, marriage, reproductive health, trauma, spirituality, divorce, career changes, empty nest and retirement.
Clients who experience loss, anxiety, depression and shame can benefit from Dr. Jeanette’s expertise. She offers a wide variety of coping tools to help clients process these challenges and improve their quality of life. These approaches include Cognitive Behavior Therapy, grief work and family systems therapy. Mindfulness meditation and mindfulness living are taught as ways to increase self-awareness and live in the present. Body-awareness is taught through breathing techniques, body scans and guided imagery. All of these approaches are powerful tools to transform life’s challenges into personal growth and contentedness.
